Map[edit]

The map does not match up to the ratification section. If I believe the article, Nicaragua should be yellow not green, Mexico should be red not blue, Tierra del Fuego should be green and blue, and there may be some I missed. Also the small islands should be drawn larger than life to make them visible.  Randall Bart   Talk  21:56, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The message I left over at the map's Commons page: Thanks for the tip, I made the Mexico and Nicaragua changes. There are template world maps that have the island countries larger for colouring purposes, however using one of these templates would mean starting over, which I don't have time for right now. Anybody else, feel free to pitch in -- and an SVG version would be great too. --Padraic 18:39, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The map is out of date again (Honduras). If somebody could help, that would be appreciated! --190.7.216.122 (talk) 18:26, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Culture of Life"?[edit]

At the end it notes that the anti-abortion portions of the document are unlikely to be removed due to the strong "culture of life", which I believe is NPOV in that it is connotative in nature. Perhaps something like "strong opposition to abortion" would be more appropriate. 74.68.144.224 (talk) 18:26, 8 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

People against abortion are commonly reffered to as "pro life", so why the issue? It's just a fact. Countries where abortion is legal simply value personal freedom over the right to live. PraetorXXXfenix (talk) 11:46, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

United States Position[edit]

The United States is a member of the OAS, but has not ratified this treaty (according to this article). What is the position of the United States on this issue? Can this be addressed in the article? Thanks! --Lbeaumont (talk) 09:50, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
