opening: "The Scotian Shelf is a geological formation, part of the Continental shelf, located mainly off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada."
map: Nova Scotia is the the extreme north of the map.
One of these is incorrect. Maybe, reword to "... located southwest of Nova Scotia, Canada."?
