The Swedish–German relations are the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Federal Republic of Germany. The two countries share a close relationship due to historical, cultural and geographical factors. Both countries are members of the European Union.

Sweden and Germany have a long history of strong economic relations. Germany has for long been both the largest trade exporter as well as importer to Sweden. As of 2007 the total amount of all German exports to Sweden amounts to around 78 billion SEK (compared to about 37 billion SEK for the second largest export country, Denmark).[1] Germany is also the country which Sweden exports most to (around 51 billion SEK as of 2007).[2]
