Endorsements for VP?

[edit]

I’ve noticed quite a few posts and articles of certain high up people saying they’d prefer a certain candidate over the other for VP, should we add endorsements? Los Pobre (talk) 18:00, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A single news source claiming to have inside knowledge on the "Finalists" is too weak for the voice of Wikipedia to call them "finalists". Abductive (reasoning) 23:23, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The gallery doesn't seem to be selective at all. Citations are to people who mentioned they would "consider" the position if offered. In all cases it was never actually offered, so what's the point? I think we should have a bit better standard here. -- Mikeblas (talk) 16:04, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

J.D. Vance is the pick

[edit]

According to leaked sources, Trump has told J.D. Vance he will be the VP nominee.[1] 68.189.2.14 (talk) 21:19, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's Twitter. Not official confirmation/reliable source TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 00:49, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Trump has officially confirmed it on his Truth Social Account. https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/112792061935980928 97.116.44.20 (talk) 19:12, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
While this seems to be correct based on the fact that Burgum and Rubio are reportedly out of the running, we can wait a few more hours for the official confirmation. SDudley (talk) 18:57, 15 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I posted that on July 14th, it's been obvious for the last 3 days or so.
