Mind Leech

The Mind Leech is a piece of Cybertronian technology from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Mind Leech is a machine used for interrogations. It works primarily by softening up the mental functions of its victims, so that they are more ready to reply to questions. But if that turns out to be not enough, the Mind Leech is also capable of inflicting terrible pain to further coax an answer out of them.

Nightbeat, Siren, and Hosehead were hooked up to the Mind Leech aboard Thunderwing's ship, because Thunderwing wanted to know what the Autobots were up to with their obvious search for something. Both Hosehead and Siren managed to resist the device's applications, but Thunderwing got some useful information through Nightbeat before he was called away to deal with another team of Autobots on the planet Cheyne. From Cheyne, Thunderwing's crew followed the trail of Autobot search teams to Pequod, where a wrong remark by Ruckus got him smashed across the bridge into a set of consoles. What none of the Decepticons realized at the time was that that console was connected to the Mind Leech a few rooms away.
