This article states that the Indian Government owned and manufactured the soft drink brands, Thums Up, Limca, etc. However, this is incorrect information. Limca, Thums Up, Gold Spot and Citra were all brands owned by Parle (a major Indian Conglomerate) who later sold it to Coca Cola at a very big profit.

Zan

A bottle of Limca I just got in California has a pasted-on nutrition label that says "Ingredients: Carbonated water, sugar, food color, caramel e-150". That's it. So why does it taste lime-y/ginger-y? According to the label there's no flavoring at all besides sugar. Oh wait, it also says 300ml on the label, but 200ml on the actual bottle. Weird. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.239.45.4 (talk) 19:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
