I purchased this light strip as a gift for my husband as he always wanted one to go around the living room for added ambience when watching movies. This light strip is the most affordable option for the length that you get and additional features and colours.
I bought it at the end of September and recieved it at the beginning of October. Since it was a Christmas gift for my husband, we didn't put it up until mid December but I really wish that I had given it to him right away because after less than a month of using it, it no longer works and we are outside of the return window!
The company mentions 24 months of warranty due to how much they believe in their product, but I have no idea how to reach out about that or get a replacement/refund.
When it was working, we absolutely loved it! There were so many colours to choose from, you could turn it on/change it from an app on your phone, it was bright but could be set as dim as you wanted, and was exactly what we were looking for.
Our son has a different brand of light strip in his bedroom that was purchased 4 years ago and is still going strong, so it's hard to know if it's a quality issue with this product or if we just happened to get a dud (which can happen with electronics). The biggest issue for us is that although the product is inexpensive, we are a low income household and non-necessities like this are a luxury that we can not afford (even at this price) so having it stop working so quickly after such a short time is really disappointing.
In my video, I show that the light does not work regardless of what way the battery is, what way the light is plugged in, or if I try to turn it on with the app the light comes with (to show its not just the remote battery). As well as proving that the outlet does work with other products. I also included a photo of when the light was working originally.
