I was lucky to receive the book in good shape it seems (I thought amazon was very intent not to let through reviews that only mention packaging, but it seems they went through anyways).
Cover foil was rubbed off a little in some areas, but this just gives the book character in my opinion. The hardcover binding is solid and the paper is great quality and thick, and the typeset easy to read. I actually love the smaller-than-standard size of this hardcover.
This is the first time I am reading this series. 5 chapters into the first book and I already like it more than its TV adaptation. A light, enjoyable and fun read so far.
Edit (one week later): done reading the first book, I really enjoyed it! The author made use of quite a few, typical "fanfic tropes" e.g. eye color described as food, repeatedly describing eye and hair color, Mary Sue-esque main character... It was a fine read despite it all (and I hope the next books just become better).
I thought I would update this review to also confirm this collector edition contains the second epilogues from "Happily Ever After" for both stories (something I could oddly not confirm prior my buying this book).

It says all 4 books come with a bookmark ribbon inside the book, mine didn't come with one. I hope the next 3 books do. There was some damage from delivery, but I'm more upset about the lack of ribbon bookmark.

The book is beautiful. Lovely colours, font, paper, etc.The only issue is the damages that it arrived with.
I do not understand how a company, that is literally a shipping company, can't handle product or ship product in a way that will allow it to arrive undamaged. You have all these packing materials that you could wrap it in and yet you won't. Wouldn't it be easier to package items appropriately so that you don't have to process exchanges or returns?
