editMartin has described himself as a "lifelong socialist". He is a member of Democratic Socialists of America, and registered to vote as a democrat. He first voted at age 17 in the 2016 Nebraska caucus, in which he voted for Bernie Sanders. In 2022 he told Jean Stothert "You're the only Republican I've ever voted for".
Martin was a member of the Labour Party in the UK, but left in 2021 in reaction to the treatment of Jeremy Corbyn. He has since shown support for the Green Party. He opposed Brexit, and supports the UK rejoining the European Union. Despite being a British Citizen, Martin has never voted in the UK due having never officially resided there.
Personal Life
editMartin is an avid Trekkie. He has appeared wearing a custom made Skant, both at local fan conventions and on Halloween. He is a supporter of AFC Wimbledon and the New York Yankees. He is also a fan of Formula One racing, regualrly attending the United States Grand Prix and has shown support for Alex Albon.
