Would like to add a photo to the page[edit]

Hi everyone,

I would like to add a photo I took of Lydia Loveless playing with her band at SXSW 2014 to this page. Here is the photo URL: Wiki Commons Photo I own the copyright. If there are any issues please let me know. Thank you! Franzthemogul89 (talk) 00:43, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Franzthemogul89 (talk) You can insert the photos you upload to Wiki Commons yourself -- no need to put these on the talk pages. Just copy the W "Use this file on Wikipedia" link in the top line above the image. It's very easy. You may also want to activate your user page as well, so your user name is not redlined. Hi BrillLyle, Thank you for the information! I'm just learning and will look into activating my user page soon. Franzthemogul89 (talk) 00:56, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
If you need help, please definitely ask -- it's good to ask instead of making edits that might degrade the page or will get removed right away. The Wikipedia IRC help channel is also a great place to ask questions live. BrillLyle (talk) 01:04, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

"born Lydia Ruth Lamb, née Ankrom" - this makes no sense, as "née" means "born" and is used to indicate a person's birth surname (eg "Jill Tracy Biden (née Jacobs)". Loveless can't have been born with both surnames..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 13:50, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
