Deutsch: Das Institut de droit international, zu deutsch Institut für Internationales Recht, ist eine Vereinigung von Juristen, welche die Entwicklung des Internationalen Rechts, das heißt des Völkerrechts und des Internationalen Privatrechts, wissenschaftlich verfolgen und durch Vorschläge beeinflussen. Die Organisation wurde am 8. September 1873 in Gent in Belgien gegründet und erhielt für ihr Engagement 1904 den Friedensnobelpreis.
English: The Institut de droit international ("Institute of International Law") is an organization devoted to the study and development of international law, whose membership comprises the world's leading public international lawyers. In 1904 the Institute received the Nobel Peace Prize.
Français : L'Institut de droit international a été fondé en 1873 à Gand en Belgique. Il avait pour mission de soutenir les efforts visant à éliminer des sociétés les sources de conflit et à codifier le droit international. Il a comme slogan « Justice et Paix ». L'institut a reçu le prix Nobel de la paix en 1904.
