Corios is hiring a Presales Engineer to join our growing team. This role will put you at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving innovation and helping businesses unlock the full potential of modern data analytics.


Key Details:

  • Pay: $70,000 - $90,000/year DOE + commission
  • Location: Remote in the US; Central and Eastern Time Zone states preferred

Who We Are: Corios helps our enterprise clients replace their legacy, dinosaur-era data analytics platforms with cutting-edge cloud platforms that leverage open-source frameworks. We inventory the client’s workloads, data, and analyst community; convert their workloads into modern languages like Python and PySpark on cloud data analytics platforms like AWS and Databricks; and train their data analysts in modern frameworks and languages to be productive and extend their careers. To do that, Corios markets, sells, and delivers our analytics modernization platform, including our own software and delivery methodology, to large enterprise clients via our market partnerships with leading cloud and analytics providers and with our delivery partners around the world.

Who You Are: You are an adaptable and multifaceted professional who excels in technical expertise and interpersonal interactions. Skilled in delivering clear and persuasive presentations, you can effectively communicate technical details to various stakeholders. You thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy tackling new challenges.


Additional qualifications include:

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle uncertainty and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Python for analytics and programming.
  • Experience building software demonstrations
  • Proficiency in AWS, Databricks, and Dataiku.
  • Familiarity with various enterprise software architectures and presales engineering practices.
  • Business-level certifications from AWS, Databricks, or Dataiku are preferred.
  • Multilingual capabilities, specifically Spanish or Portuguese preferred



What You’ll Do: As a Presales Engineer at Corios, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process by supporting our sellers in pursuing new clients and existing customer engagements. You will be at the forefront of customer interactions, conducting assessments, preparing presentations, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. Your primary objective is to help customers understand the value of our solutions and facilitate their transition to modern data analytics platforms.


Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support sales team by conducting initial assessments of customer organizations to identify user needs and system requirements.
  • Plan, develop, and deliver product demonstrations that address customer pain points and showcase our software’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and pitch solutions to prospective customers.
  • Manage multiple presales engagements simultaneously, ensuring each opportunity receives the necessary attention and resources.
  • Lead technical workshops to demonstrate solution viability and effectiveness.
  • Stay current with our product’s technologies and features, as well as competing technologies that could impact our customers.
