Job Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in building strong relationships and offering knowledgeable support to both internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the HR experience in line with Topgolf Callaway Brand’s culture. This position requires a thorough understanding of general HR concepts and a dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality while managing diverse HR tasks. The ideal candidate will exhibit professionalism and skill in managing complex HR assignments, using their judgment to resolve issues and provide valuable recommendations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, ensuring their smooth integration into the organization.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, offering guidance and support as required.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations matters, conducting investigations when necessary, and suggesting suitable actions.
  • Support talent management initiatives, encompassing succession planning, performance evaluations, and development strategies.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to both managers and employees on performance-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain precise HR records and documentation in adherence to legal requirements.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, including program development, change implementations, community engagement, and diversity and inclusion efforts.


Technical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • Profound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity.
  • Proficiency in Workday systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational prowess and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a penchant for accuracy in work.
  • Preferred certification: SHRM-CP or PHR.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, focusing on HR generalist functions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent college-level education is preferred.
