What's The Role?

The Assistant Vice President, Marketing Manager is responsible for assisting with the planning, delivery, and optimization of comprehensive promotional, growth, and retention marketing strategies, aligned to the business’ objectives of the group.


This role requires an understanding of how to leverage integrated marketing programs to increase awareness, drive growth, and support cross-selling opportunities across the business.


The successful candidate will collaborate with the business leads to understand their priorities and translate them into impactful and results-oriented multi-channel marketing programs. They will then work closely with our in-house agency and external partners to execute their programs to the highest standards across a variety of marketing channels, tracking results and optimizing along the way.


The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a results-oriented mindset, in-depth knowledge of the B2B marketing landscape and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business.


We'll Trust You To:


  • Understand the objectives of the business and collaborate with the team to execute effective marketing strategies.
  • Monitor industry, market, and competitor information with an eye for both short and longer-term opportunities and threats.
  • Be a self-starter who can uncover marketing opportunities and/or develop new ideas and run with them.
  • Collaborate on and execute multi-channel marketing programs across all channels (email, social, SEM/ SEO, display, programmatic, video, website, events etc) - aligned to the awareness, acquisition, retention, or expansion objectives of the business.
  • Define success metrics by monitoring, tracking, and reporting on results to optimally deliver a return on marketing investment.
  • Coordinate the program execution and delivery of all marketing activities through both in-house teams and external agency partners.
  • Develop and organize content across all owned and earned channels to ensure that it’s updated and aligned to the business needs.
  • Monitor and update the web and social presence across the business to ensure it’s representing the business objectives effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team on any press-related initiatives, business interviews, or internal communications needs.
  • Run your own workload and prioritize multiple requests from different stakeholders.
  • Become an advocate for the Cantor Fitzgerald brand and ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the overall brand.


You'll Need To Have:


  • 3-5 years of experience in in-house corporate marketing with a successful track record in B2B financial services marketing.
  • A strong understanding of the financial services markets, including knowledge of key client segments.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working closely with both in-house and external marketing teams/agencies.
  • Track record of executing results-oriented promotional, lead generation, and customer engagement programs with proven ROI.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to create project plans and manage through seamless execution.
  • Sound professional judgment and ability to prioritize work under pressure and to multi-task competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to adapt and learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Adobe InDesign/Photoshop a plus
  • Digital marketing experience required (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience a plus)



Salary: 90,000-110,000


The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $110,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis considering a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
