We are currently seeking a diligent, and highly motivated Senior Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with full-cycle payroll processes for a workforce of over 1200 employees while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations across multiple states.

Base Pay Range -$71,100 - $88,900

We are currently seeking a diligent, and highly motivated Senior Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with full-cycle payroll processes for a workforce of over 1200 employees while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations across multiple states.
What You Will Do
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, timecard validation, and disbursement.
- Function as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll.
- Manage the setup and request for tax IDs in new state or local jurisdictions through ADP and state websites.
- Manage government inquiries such as wage verification and garnishment orders.
- Assist in maintaining employee and payroll files.
- Assist the Payroll Manager in reconciling payroll transactions.
- Support audits in coordination with HR, Benefits, and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments as needed.
- Conduct year-end communications and reconciliations.
- Participate in system testing for Workday semi-annual upgrades.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Workday US Payroll and Time Tracking
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with ADP Smart Compliance, including Wage Payment, Garnishment, and Tax
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in payroll administration and compliance
- In-depth understanding of benefits and their impact on pay, including 401k, HSA, FSA, DP
- Knowledge of RSU and stock options
- Strong attention to detail and diligence
- Appreciation for the importance of confidentiality
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Effective communication abilities
- Experience and expertise in working with Workday EIBs
- Basic background in Payroll Accounting
