Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking an Executive Assistant/Coordinator to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.
This Executive Assistant/Coordinator will be working in the Environmental, Safety, Health, and Quality (ESH&Q) office. Under limited supervision, provides advanced, diversified, confidential and moderately complex administrative and clerical assistance to one or more executive team members requiring tact, diplomacy and judgment in addition to broad and considerable experience.
Primarily provides administrative and clerical assistance to one or more executive team members
Coordinates and/or administers programs, projects and processes
Completes tasks such as comprehensive research, gathering, composing, tracking, tabulating, summarizing, organizing and creating presentations and other communications
Coordinates and arranges meetings, special events or travel arrangements
Utilizes personal computers or electronic devices including keyboarding, databases, spreadsheets, presentation, conversion software, document control or other applications/programs specific to the department or company
Instructs, informs and/or refers others on department or company procedures, policies and practices
Assists in budget and control activities
Compiles and performs basic to moderately complex analysis, prepares reports and/or recommendations
Serves as administrative liaison within and outside the company
May represent the department/company at meetings and may present material
May provide tours
May provide ancillary support to other senior managers, departments or business units concurrently
Other duties as assigned
High School Diploma or GED and professional, administrative, secretarial or clerical experience and/or combination of secondary education and experience related to the position’s responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree
Interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Communication skills to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; proficient in spelling and grammar.
Ability to work as a team member and team lead
Knowledge of personal computers and applications included in MS Office Suite or position-specific software/hardware
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to maintain confidentiality with demonstrated ability to use discretion and good judgment
Strong initiative; ability to assess changing conditions and react accordingly
