We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Instructor to join our team, committed to equipping students with the essential knowledge and skills for entry-level nursing roles. As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to engage students using various teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and innovative technology.
Job Duties
Develop performance-based course outlines aligned with curriculum guidelines and regulatory standards.
Deliver practical and theoretical instruction in Nurse Aide profession essentials, emphasizing tools/equipment usage, regulations, and employment readiness.
Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and attendance records, reporting to the Lead Instructor and Director of Education.
Employ diverse teaching techniques to enhance learning, maintain classroom discipline, and ensure efficient use of instructional time.
Facilitate student support, conduct evaluations, and collaborate on curriculum enhancements.
Supervise students during clinical placements as required.
Qualification Requirements
Associate degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Louisiana license.
Minimum two years of LPN experience, ideally in elderly or chronically ill care settings.
Strong multitasking abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and discretion in all interactions.
Compensation
In alignment with our commitment to transparency, the annual salary range for this role is $90,000-$95,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits and total compensation may vary based on factors such as location and individual circumstances.
