About the Company:

Kitchen Fresh Foods (KFF) is a USDA-approved manufacturer and distributor of Ready to Eat (RTE) Prepackaged foods. KFF made its name in food service for its industry leading Fresh Food distribution platform. KFF is looking to hire a talented Regional Sales Manager – Foodservice to sell KFFs food solutions focusing on Vending, Micro-Market and Distributor accounts.

 

Position Summary

As Regional Sales Manager, reporting to Director of Sales – Foodservice, you are responsible for establishing, managing, and developing relationships with Kitchen Fresh Foods’ customers and distributor partners in food service channels. This role will be responsible for owning and growing its region’s Revenue and Profit plans by creating equitable solutions for new and existing customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·        New Business – Generate leads and present solutions to potential customers, exceed volume, revenue, and cost targets.

·        Customer Management – Regularly follow-up with existing customers and determine additional selling opportunities. Report out and improve upon key customer KPIs.

·        Voice of the Customer – Communicate customer needs and marketplace opportunities back to the organization to establish company growth platforms, suggest impactful solutions to your findings.

·        Project Management – Own action item resolution and new business ideas from concept to implementation by working cross functionally and reporting back to customers on progress.  Own alignment and maintenance once complete.

·        Sales Forecasting – Create and communicate sales forecasts to production so that we maintain our best-in-class order fulfillment expectations.

·        Trade Shows – Represent the company at various industry appropriate trade shows.

·        Strategy – Suggest and lead initiatives to improve overall health of the category by improving product pricing, mix or go-to-market strategies.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

·        Minimum of 5 years sales, category, or program management experience

·        Preferred experience in Food Service or Fresh Food manufacturing, sales, or distribution

·        Ability to develop and present information with exceptional communications skills

·        Proficiency to explain complex solutions to customers who have simple expectations

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

·        Experience using CRM software

·        Ability to travel to meet customer requirements up to 40% (6-10 days per month with some overnights)

·        Live within the Central Region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois)

·        Ability to work a hybrid work schedule
