Plant Engineer

Our client is an innovative and fast-growing start-up food manufacturer. They currently seek a Plant Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in the greater Lafayette area. The ideal candidate will have previous food manufacturing experience, enjoy hands-on work, and be ready to learn and grow with this award-winning company!

As a Plant Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist in identifying, managing, and implementing site projects
• Identify areas of process optimization
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting
• Be a part of site continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize data analysis to assess manufacturing activities

Salary Range: $100,000/year - $125,000/year + 8-10% bonus

As a Plant Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience out of food manufacturing
• GMP/HACCP experience
• Must have previous continuous improvement experience
• Previous experience working on capital projects
