General Description:

As an HR Business Partner at Georgia Transformer, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing effective human resources strategies that enhance organizational performance and foster a positive work environment. This role involves collaborating with management and employees to develop and execute initiatives that reduce turnover, promote employee engagement, and improve workplace relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering strategic insights and practical solutions to address organizational and people-related challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Work closely with management to create and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Focus on reducing turnover and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Build and maintain strong employee relationships by providing guidance and support on workplace issues. Partner with managers to resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Coaching and Development: Educate and coach managers on effective people management practices. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
  • HR Program Development: Participate in the development and improvement of HR programs, including those related to retention, employee engagement, employee relationships, recruiting, and learning & development.
  • Supervision of HR Staff: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the HR department, ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide strategic insights and thought leadership on organizational and people-related matters. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR issues and opportunities.
  • HR Education and Communication: Deliver timely information and education on HR policies, programs, and practices to all levels of the company. Ensure that employees and managers are well-informed and compliant with HR regulations and standards.
  • Organizational Development: Collaborate with leadership to identify and address organizational needs. Implement change management initiatives and support the growth and development of a high-performance culture.
  • Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. Provide guidance on the application and interpretation of HR policies.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to inform decision-making and strategy development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a human resources role, with a focus on business partnering, employee relations, and HR strategy.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supervising and developing HR staff.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
