Director of Investor Relations

The company is a publicly traded, $1B+ revenue manufacturing company, seeking a take-charge investor relations professional. The company has a portfolio of reputable products and boasts a significant market share in the sector. The company has an impressive history of success both organically and through acquisitions, and it anticipates significant growth in both revenue and earnings over the next 3-5 years. This position will be based in a desirable location in Chicago.

Position:

The Director will be the key point of contact with the investment community in responding to inquiries and relaying feedback and perceptions to senior leadership. This person will help to shape, articulate, and manage the company’s investment story while maintaining a strong presence with their investors. We are seeking a high potential performer who can operate with a high-level strategic mindset while keeping an eye on the details.

Qualifications:

BS in a finance, economics, or accounting required. MBA preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investor relations, investment banking or consulting.

Deep knowledge of public company financial reporting, SEC laws and securities discloser requirements.

Possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with hands on detail-oriented mentality.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead and partner well with teams while developing relationships with the investment community.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Strong business and common sense.

A positive presence, superior intellect and strong ability to work with highly collaborative cross functional teams.

Compensation:

A competitive package with annual cash compensation to include base, bonus and equity. If required, a comprehensive relocation package will be provided.
