As our Facilities Manager, you'll report to the Director of Engineering and be responsible for ensuring a well-maintained work environment that meets all legal requirements and health and safety standards. This role requires a practical approach and direct involvement in all aspects of facility and maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement property strategies aligned with organizational goals
Oversee building maintenance, renovations, and capital improvement projects
Manage space planning, communications infrastructure, and daily operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and environmental regulations
Oversee the maintenance team and manage vendor relationships
Implement and oversee security measures
Direct hazardous materials management programs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
5-7 years proven hands-on experience as a Facilities Manager, preferably in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
Experience with project management and budgeting
Proficiency in facility management software and data analysis tools
Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential a plus
