High school diploma or equivalent some college preferred, valid New Jersey driver’s license .
Knowledge of security measures, crisis management, and current laws and regulations governing search and seizure activities, and understanding of the criminal justice system. NJ School Safety Specialist or certified School Resource Officer preferred.
Ability to provide leadership and guidance regarding safety and security issues in an educational environment
Basic Functions: To administer the district’s safety and security program.
