Role Overview

With a young-at-heart personality and quirky, spirited attitude — your playfulness and creativity shows in your work. You love pushing your team to create experiences that inspire and engage young audiences, and redefine how they interact with the digital world around them.

You have a strong desire to learn, a fresh perspective and the animation chops to match. Your passion is storytelling through motion, with a keen eye for detail, ear for sound and craft of bringing storyboards and creative to life in imaginatively fun ways. From idea to execution — you collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive the creation of on-brand, interactive experiences in a digital space.

Responsibilities:

This role will work closely with Art Directors, Copywriters and Motion Artists on the conceptualization and animation & sound design of digital games and brand experiences for Happy Meal. As an integral part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, you will bring creative to life and open up a world of imagination for a young audience.

  • Works and collaborates with the creative team to build big ideas and animations for digital brand experiences that invoke interaction and engagement
  • Add excitement for our users by incorporating high-quality sound design into your animations
  • Take storyboards and assets to create slick animations across multiple, varied web-based experiences
  • Deliver finished video content to developers ensuring file size and quality concerns are handled and fit for purpose
  • Manage and balance multiple jobs and projects daily, meets timelines and expectations, while measuring and improving efficiency
  • Maintain knowledge and skills of creative applications, staying on top of new and evolving technology in the motion space
  • Be a constant learner, with a passion for actively keeping ahead of the curve and exploring digital tools, trends/standard methodologies, and styles, as well as advertising and design styles
  • Be a team player to others by collaborating, working hard and always pushing the envelope


Skills And Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience creating 2D/3D motion assets for videos and games/experiences
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge of Illustrator, Premiere and Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite programs is a plus
  • Knowledge of Figma design workflow and prototyping is a huge plus
  • Proficiency in sound design; sequencing and mixing and manipulating audio assets such as sound effects & music from stock libraries
  • Knowledge in 3D software like Cinema 4d, Blender or Maya is a huge plus
  • Understanding of color theory, picture composition and framing principles
  • Illustration skills are a huge plus with the ability to storyboard and support in asset creation
  • Well-organized and able to work consistently on recurring tasks in projects
  • Understanding of mobile best-practices and user interaction in the digital space
  • Ability to collaborate with other Art Directors, Motion Artists, and Copywriters to execute and deliver fun and engaging digital experiences for a young audience
