  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in event and marketing verticals, including collaborating with multiple organizations and internal and external stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience in a relevant role, managing engagements with external partners, customers, vendors, negotiating agreements, scoping requirements, prioritizing requests, and helping to define program strategy.
  • 5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in stakeholder management.

As the lead of the Events and Channels Go-to-Market Team, you will be responsible for building and landing a strategy to expand Google Cloud Learning’s presence in the market across critical distribution engines like events, social media, communities, and campaigns. To be successful, you will work in lockstep cross-functionally with Google Cloud Learning counterparts as well as Google Cloud Global Marketing teams, including Cloud legal, Corporate Communications, PR, and Regional Cloud Marketing teams to help execute on the events and channels strategy.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$234,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and land tiered skilling events and channels strategy for an always on presence in market across critical distribution channels, including global events like Next and i/O.
  • Lead with influence across stakeholder team including Events, Cloud Marketing, Corporate Communications, Product, Engineering, and Sales to deliver the go-to-market programs to drive our skilling narrative in the market.
  • Expand our current social media and community strategy to land a global, consistent, always on presence ensuring that we are engaging with the right audience, at the right time, with the right content, on the right channels.
  • Partner with Internal and External Communication leads to align on overall narrative, messaging, and branding across distribution channels.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing team of passionate channel managers.
