Position Summary
This position is for degreed (master’s or Ph.D. preferred) architectural historians and/or preservationists with demonstrated field experience and writing ability. The employee will work on a variety of multidisciplinary projects with PS&S archaeologists in the Cultural Resources Department and with our architects, environmental scientists, and engineers. Additional knowledge, experience, and awareness of federal, state, and local regulatory processes regarding historic districts, structures, buildings, and landscapes will be gained in a dynamic, inclusive, and highly collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
- Research, performance, and preparation of historic district and regulatory surveys, tax credit applications, reports, and National Register Nominations
- Conduct historical research and assist with archaeological field and laboratory work.
- Prepare and deliver written and oral testimony in support of client projects.
- Participate in PS&S business practices and ethics, including proposal writing, project management, accountability, business development and client relationship management.
- MA, MS in Historic Preservation and/or Art/Architectural History in hand or near-at-hand
- Demonstrated field and writing skills.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience.
