Kontota is a mobile pet grooming company that services pets right outside their home in fully-equipped Mercedes Sprinter vans. We provide a relaxed environment free from the chaos and drama in crowded, hectic salons.
As a Mobile Pet Bather/Entry Level Groomer In Training, you would be driving the company vehicle to customers’ residences, bathing, drying pets, collecting payments, and communicating with customers about our services and their pets.
Please keep in mind that we offer 7:30am-7:30pm 12 hour days for 4 days. Our locations are Little Elm and Lewisville, usually about a 20 min commute from Denton. We are looking for long term candidates with a strong love of animals and friendly team spirit!

Salary
As a mobile pet stylist, you will be paid a designated amount based on the service rendered. There will be bonuses based on safe driving and quality work. There will also be lots of tips!
Education/Experience:
A passion and love for animals.
A strong work ethic and patient attitude.
Excellent driving -record and valid driver’s license.
Smart phone required.

Ability to read technical procedures, safety rules, and compliance regulations. Ability to effectively communicate and present information and respond to questions from customers
Common sense ability to execute oral and written instructions
Ability to use a smart phone or tablet to collect payments, utilize scheduling software, and use GPS navigation
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color recognition, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to drive for at least two hours and possibly up to four hours per work day depending on the length of the shift and business demands

Bathe and groom pets according to customer specifications
Handle and restrain pets as necessary during bathing and grooming process
Clean and sanitize bathing areas and equipment
Assist with pet sitting duties, including feeding, walking, and providing companionship
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
Maintain a clean and organized kennel area
Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects, such as large dogs, up to 50 pounds
Previous experience in pet bathing or grooming is preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Willingness to learn and follow company procedures for pet bathing and grooming
