Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Packaging Engineering Co-op to be located for Titusville, NJ.This Manufacturing, Science, and Technology group is involved in managing packaging projects and supporting global packaging sites as well as performing a Center of Excellence (CoE) role for JSC.

The Packaging Engineer Co-op will support marketed products, new product introductions, and strategic initiatives for the department by:

  • Authoring/reviewing packaging material specifications, packaging drawings, & packaging BOMs.
  • Reviewing labeling and artwork to ensure they meet technical specifications.
  • Performing package evaluation and distribution testing.
  • Assisting with the execution of controlled temperature packaging qualifications.
  • Writing/reviewing technical protocols and reports.
  • Managing project timelines

  • Packaging Engineering
  • Project Management
  • Technical Operations environment in highly regulated industry
  • Working closely with External Manufacturing, Quality, Graphics CoE and Distribution Centers
  • Enrollment at an accredited college/university and pursuing at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering or other related Engineering/Science academic major.
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the Co-op period is required.
  • Completion of at least Sophomore year of undergraduate program is required.
  • A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or participation in campus/community service activities are desired.
  • Previous experience in a Packaging Engineering environment is preferred.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future

Payrates

Technical Degree s :

The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $24.00/ hr , Junior $25/ hr , Senior $27/ hr , Master’s degree $32/hr.

Business Degrees

The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $21.00/ hr , Junior $22/ hr , Senior $23/ hr , Master’s degree $29/hr.
