Company Introduction:

Stockton Cardiology Medical Group is a large single specialty cardiology practice with 4 locations and 15 providers. Providing quality care for over 56 years.

The position is in our Stockton office at 415 E Harding Way. Monday through Friday with hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced revenue cycle manager. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, provider-centric focus, strong EMR (Electronic Medical Records) knowledge, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the revenue cycle management division.
  • Assess problem resolution and troubleshoot operational challenges as they arise.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Advise and assist staff with questions, concerns, and optimization of billing processes.
  • Respond to physician concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their needs are met and issues resolved.
  • Oversee billers and coders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing process.
  • Ensure staff and providers have the necessary reports and information for smooth operation.
  • Support staff in a technical aspect, addressing EMR-related issues and providing guidance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient issues, ensuring timely resolution and high patient satisfaction Maintain regular contact with physicians, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide offsite vendor oversight and collaboration to ensure operational efficiency

Physician Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, serving as their trusted advisor.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for insurers, staff and providers, addressing inquiries and escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff and providers to review performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in leadership roles within the healthcare industry, specifically in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
  • Experience interacting with physicians to understand their needs and facilitate effective revenue cycle management solutions.
  • Extensive experience managing large physician practice from a RCM aspect is a must.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, EMR systems, and industry trends.
  • Experience managing offsite teams and collaborating across multiple offices and departments
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Client-centric approach with a commitment to delivering high-touch, personalized service.
