Our client is a company in the Greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounting Sr. Manager. This company is looking for someone who has 6+ years of accounting experience, is a great communicator, and has management experience. This company offers a dynamic culture, competitive benefits, and good tenure on the team. This position is hybrid.

The salary range for this position is: $130k-$160k.

The Accounting Sr. Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage direct reports, providing guidance, supervision, professional development, and talent opportunities.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensure compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Own the month-end close process, quarterly reporting material for the Board of Directors, and liaison for interim and final audit fieldwork with external auditors.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with staff and clients.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement through process and system efficiencies.

The Accounting Sr. Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA and experience in Public Accounting are highly preferred.
• Highly organized and has strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations and the ability to interpret them.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Direct management or leadership experience.
