Driving Corporate Safety Requirements On Projects Sites And Offices
You lead the execution of the Harmon Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program. You conduct manufacturing and jobsite safety audits, investigate workplace accidents, provide training, manage worker certifications and manage project equipment. You act as a positive role model to champion a safe work environment for employees and ensure a positive safety culture throughout the organization. You collaborate with other Corporate EHS, regional leaders, and the site team to adapt safety plans as work evolves over the life of each project.

Position Description
Your top priority is to drive Corporate EHS requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, promote a positive safety culture and maintain equipment fleet in the field.
- Leverage critical thinking to ensure regulatory compliance
- Drive safety culture by working through site leadership using company polices
- Deliver safety results by following union regulations, best practices and enforcing company standards
- Provide OSHA compliance new hire orientation/refresher training
- Track employee certificates for training; work with the manufacturing leaders, and Regional Superintendent on refresher training to maintain certifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing leaders and Superintendents to drive Corporate EHS requirements
Leadership
- Own safety planning to ensure all projects are ready for mobilization
- Own onsite safety culture and compliance
- Conduct and facilitate Harmon safety audits
- Coordinate safety equipment and supplies
- Evaluate and minimize unique risks
- Own safety orientation process
- Manage safety training for the OU's
- Manage incident reporting and investigations
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Act as a safety resource
- Associate's degree in Industrial Safety or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in safety leadership role
