Position responsibilities & scope of work of the "Spa Director" would include but would not be limited to the following:
- Day to day branch operations.
- Effectively and efficiently manage, motivate & train all team members to deliver outstanding customer service consistent with the goals of the organization.
- Work with upper management in creating / updating / maintaining branch Policies & Procedures (SOP's) for the location and team members.
- Update job descriptions for each team member consistent with branch policies & procedures.
- Set clear goals for each team member.
- Perform regular employee evaluations (6-12 months).
- Establish a system and training whereby we are offering retail product to every guest every visit.
- Payroll Management by effectively scheduling around business demand levels.
- Employee scheduling including massage therapists daily calendar balancing, salon and front desk personnel & spa attendants.
- Implement, manage & evaluate marketing campaigns/efforts.
- Continue recruiting efforts for staffing to meet local demands.
- Maintain a clean and "presentable" work environment for employees & hotel guests.
- Set up a cross training contingency plan for the spa to operate when you are on vacation, out sick or out for any other reason.
