About the role:


We're looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the architect behind captivating content that resonates across various digital platforms. If you have a knack for crafting engaging narratives and staying ahead of social media trends, especially within these specialized areas, we want to hear from you!


This is an in-person position at our Monrovia, CA (Los Angeles) office, and you must be able to travel and work on weekends at our events to capture content. (Average of around 3-4 days at a time, approximately 15 weeks a year). The workload averages around 40 hours per week across the year. PTO will be provided to offset any weekends worked during events.


Responsibilities:


  • Content Crafting: Conceptualize and produce compelling content for our social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, focusing on food and live event experiences. Develop visually cohesive themes that embody our brand essence and captivate our target audience within these domains. Brainstorm innovative ideas aligned with brand identity and marketing objectives, collaborating closely with the marketing team for seamless execution.
  • Photo and Video Editing: Edit content through Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and/or DaVinci Resolve to. From tantalizing food shots to capturing the buzz of live experiences, you'll breathe life into our content, ensuring it aligns with our brand aesthetic and storytelling vision.
  • Content Optimization: Dive into social media analytics to gauge content performance and identify optimization. Harness data-driven insights to refine our content strategy, from content types to posting schedules, driving enhanced engagement and reach within these specialized niches.
  • Strategic Vision: Partner with the marketing squad to craft holistic content plans that propel our brand forward. Explore avenues for content diversification and expansion within these domains, tapping into emerging platforms and audience segments.
  • Trend Savvy: Keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends and industry happenings, especially within the food and live event domains, seizing on relevant opportunities to keep our content fresh and relevant.


Requirements:

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience as a social media content creator with a stellar portfolio showcasing your creativity and content prowess, preferably within the food and/or live event sectors.
  • Tech Proficiency: Mastery of editing software like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve. Most editing will be done through CapCut, but the software choice is flexible.
  • Storytelling Savvy: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for storytelling across diverse platforms and audiences.
  • Platform Proficiency: Deep knowledge of major social media platforms and their nuances, from Facebook and Instagram to TikTok and YouTube.
  • SEO: Familiarity with SEO principles for effective content optimization.
  • Organizational Wizardry: Strong time-management skills, adept at juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: A penchant for crafting visually stunning and engaging content, down to the smallest pixel, within the unique contexts of food and live event experiences.
  • Innovative Mindset: A creative maven with an insatiable appetite for industry trends and experimentation with new content formats and channels, particularly within the specialized domains of food and live events.
