Supplier Quality Engineer

About The Job

The Quality Engineer must follow and guarantee the quality of the Louis Vuitton products starting from the last phases of product development, in collaboration with the Industrializer, up to the launch of the same in stores, passing through appropriate risk analyzes in the development phase and following its downstream fine-tuning, i.e. from the technical release of the project up to the qualitative validation of the first production batch.

The function must monitor the industrialization plans of seasonal models through the use and updating of the tools made available by the company: PLM and CCPM; the function must also animate the growth of our suppliers according to the targets and indicators defined by the Management and is also the privileged contact with the central Logistics Center in Paris for the release of the Production and management of the After Sales Service.

• Frequent visits to suppliers to ensure that quality and timing objectives are met
• Management of qualitative audits and training in case of integration of new suppliers
• Risk Analysis and launch of laboratory tests
• System management of certifications and data entry to update the central database
• Monitoring and anticipation of legislative issue and related updates on our products
• Contact with the after-sales service to define the offer relating to the new collections and improve customer service
  
  

Profile

• Technical degree in Industrial, Quality and Process Engineering
• Experience of at least 3 years in similar positions
• In-depth knowledge of the Office package
• Fluent in Italian and English, French in a plus
• Dynamism and proactivity attitude are indispensable
• Excellent analytical skills and work organization
• Flexibility and ability to interface with various internal and external interlocutors
• Able to manage relationship in high demanding environment
