Position Summary:

CereCore is looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer that specializes in installing, troubleshooting, and upgrading hardware and software on desktop systems, including printers, scanners, and laptops. The candidate should be proficient in resolving LAN connectivity and email configuration issues on end-user workstations. This position will require the candidate to travel to various different facilities in the Jupiter, FL area


Responsibilities:

  • Provides basic administrative and technical support in the monitoring and maintenance of the facilities management and infrastructure support of multiple data centers and critical infrastructure environments within System owned/leased buildings.
  • Install/troubleshoot hardware/software, configure and upgrade desktop systems such as printers, scanners, laptops, etc.
  • Troubleshoot LAN connectivity email configurations on end-user workstations
  • Fix, troubleshoot, debug any computer issues at various facilities
  • Works indirectly with IT Operations, Network Services, Service Desk, Office of Production Quality, Technology Services, Facilities and Property Management departments and vendor partners to resolve specific issues and maintain high system availability and reliability.
  • Refers more complex problems to experienced field technicians to resolve specific issues and maintain high system availability and reliability.
