Pharmacy Technician - Remote | WFH

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably within a high-volume call center environment, ideally in healthcare, social services, or similar fields.

At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.

State or national pharmacy technician license is required.

Verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support to members and providers by handling incoming calls and assisting with approvals and denials.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders, providing professional assistance throughout the criteria-based prior authorization process.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all approvals and denials.

Direct clinical inquiries and judgment calls to the pharmacist as needed.
