Position Summary

XSOLIS, is a dynamic and entrepreneurial healthcare technology organization focused on creating an environment for our clients where care givers spend more time with patients and less time with their heads down on paperwork. For the first time, healthcare operations can leverage clinical and risk scoring methodologies to better manage medical necessity determinations, patient flow, patient hand-offs, payer/provider communication, accurate reimbursement. 

Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Consultants, the Senior Clinical Sales Consultant will work with the sales team in all areas. This is a hands-on position, and you will be required to act independently, exercise good judgement and discretion. You will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling products to healthcare providers, ensuring their proper use, and offering post-sales support to enhance patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of clinical environments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Engagement: Understands operational and clinical workflow for the case management/utilization review functions and ensures effective communication to the delivery team
  • Sales Alignment: Subject matter expert in clinical uses (UM/CM, etc), able to understand and articulate the value of XSOLIS in the clinical & financial environment, and have knowledge of existing policy/regulations that drive use and need
  • Product expertise and marketing support: Clinical expert that can support internal product discovery and facilitate external discovery through relationships and industry insight, based on market feedback
  • Informs collateral development for use in Marketing, also acts as industry expert to help guide marketing to high value targets (trade shows, care management groups, etc)
  • Responsible for updating/maintaining the company defined ROI tool, working with sales on generation of ROI projections and supporting/leading client-facing presentations, ensuring continuity with the Client Delivery/Success teams
  • Collaborate with the sales team throughout the sales cycle to provide clinical and operational expertise, inclusive of product demonstrations and workflow discovery/design related to utilization review and case management
  • Participate in the sales turnover process, to bring additional clinical insight into the overall project
  • Provide clinical consulting/advisement to product development related to roadmap, prioritization of enhancements, alignment with business strategies, compliance and clinical relevance
  • Plays a crucial role within the XSOLIS sales organization by acting as a bridge between clinical stakeholders within the buying process and XSOLIS’ sales and marketing team members, and thus extending to client delivery & client success once a deal has closed.
  • Supports the entirety of the sales process by regularly meeting with prospects and clients with sales representatives when clinical and operational expertise is required and is responsible in helping prospects move through the sales process efficiently and expediently.
  • Forms a crucial link between the market and our product teams to communicate all relevant inputs from the field to continuously grow our solution portfolio. This role will be involved in select marketing activities and help steer and support marketing content as needed.
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer to the sales team related to industry specific trends, compliance/regulatory changes that impact our sector of healthcare and translating clinical and reporting updates from each Product release into actionable insights for the sales team.
  • This role may also be asked to support regional training/go-live events for new customers when additional internal clinical support is necessary.
  • Attendance at all required meetings, training sessions, company events, and industry trade shows/conferences.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

Education:  

  • Registered Nurse, Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing

Experience:  

  • Minimum 7 years professional experience required.
  • Extensive (5+ years) hospital utilization management and case management

Other: 

  • Prior managerial experience
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare rules and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Executive level interpersonal skills
  • Experience in technology/software implementations preferred
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly growing company
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Attention to detail, strong sense of professionalism and strong work ethic
  • 50-70% Travel required.
