Responsibilities:
Participates in the assessment of learning/resources needs and the subsequent establishment of directional goals for the institution and its various departments which are compatible with its service, teaching, and research objectives.
Responds to the educational and health care needs of the staff, residents and community which its serves.
Develops an overall teaching program which is consistent with the stated mission. Serves as Chairperson of Committee for Orientation Revision.
Provides direction and leadership in the development of objectives for implementation of the philosophy and objectives of the departmental teaching program.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
NYS RN License
5 years’ experience in the delivery of nursing care
2 years’ experience in nursing service administration or as a Staff Developer or Educator
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree required.
