Role Purpose
As the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, you will play a crucial role in supporting with ideating and strategizing new opportunities in the US and Canada to drive awareness and elevate our brand profile through new brand building initiatives, in partnership with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and the Head of Marketing. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will have the chance to partner with cross-functional teams such as Wholesale, Global Marketing, and external partners.

Role Purpose
As the Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing, you will play a crucial role in supporting with ideating and strategizing new opportunities in the US and Canada to drive awareness and elevate our brand profile through new brand building initiatives, in partnership with the Senior Brand Marketing Manager and the Head of Marketing. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will have the chance to partner with cross-functional teams such as Wholesale, Global Marketing, and external partners.
Marketing Activations
- Spearhead special projects and brand-building moments in region, such as the yearly Aesop Queer Library event
- Responsible for cross-functional coordination, internal and external stakeholder management, and budget ownership
- Partner with the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing and other Assistant Manager, Marketing in region to support program execution across all channels (retail, wholesale, amenities, Aesop.com)
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to maximize existing amenities partners and increase reach through marketing programs, as well as support identifying new partners that align with our brand values and positioning
- Collaborate closely with the wholesale commercial team to develop and implement marketing programs aimed at increasing brand awareness and visibility within the wholesale channel
- Work with wholesale partners to create tailored marketing plans that leverage the strengths and marketing mix of each retailer
- Drive initiatives to recruit new customers to the brand through wholesale partnerships, such as animations in-store, eventing, co-op media, sampling, participation in key high-traffic moments such as holiday
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns in the wholesale channel to optimize strategies and enhance results
- Act as a liaison between the marketing team and wholesale partners to ensure alignment on brand messaging and promotional activities
- Identify opportunities to enhance wholesale marketing experience through innovative strategies and initiatives.
- Be the marketing point of contact for twice yearly market meetings with wholesale accounts
- Evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives based on channel KPIs, industry best practices, and campaign objectives through post-campaign reporting.
- Responsible for tracking brand moment performance, identifying KPIs and socializing it with regional and global stakeholders
- Deliver regular market competitive analysis, using NPD competitive data, social listening, Google search trends, and observations of the luxury landscape
- Collaborate with both office teams and field teams in-store to facilitate feedback loop on omni-impact of marketing initiatives
- Liaise with global teams to understand global programs, collaborate on regional initiatives and inform them
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing
- Experience in an omnichannel marketing environment
- Proficiency in digital marketing
- Strong business acumen and ability to prioritize marketing investments based on insights
- Proven track record of building relationships and driving effective communication for team collaboration
- Creative thinking, adaptability to challenges, and comfort with ambiguity and change management
