Membership Director

Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and organized Membership Director to develop and grow our membership program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating and managing membership programs, with strong organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and a passion for building and nurturing relationships. This is an in-person role with significant opportunities for professional growth within our rapidly expanding organization.


Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive membership sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Identify and target potential members through various sales channels, including direct outreach, partnerships, and digital marketing.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed membership goals.

Member Engagement:

  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to enhance member engagement and retention.
  • Regularly communicate with members to understand their needs and interests, ensuring the UPA offers valuable and relevant benefits.
  • Organize member events, webinars, and other activities to build a strong and engaged community.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new members.
  • Utilize social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms to promote membership benefits and drive sales.
  • Represent the UPA at events, conferences, and trade shows to network and attract new members.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish partnerships with organizations, clubs, and businesses to expand membership opportunities.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and collaborate on joint marketing efforts to increase visibility and reach.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Maintain accurate records of membership sales activities, including lead generation, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Prepare regular reports on membership sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in creating and managing membership programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be a “people person.”
  • Creative and flexible approach to problem-solving and program development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for sports and interest in pickleball is a plus.


Must be willing to work in our Dallas HQ.
