Motion Designer


Overview

We are a fast-paced e-commerce healthcare technology company seeking an experienced Motion Designer to join our dynamic team at our Austin, Texas office. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our brand identity through visually appealing designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in leveraging AI tools, such as Open AI & Mid Journey, to enhance our creative output.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and animate engaging video content for social media platforms, website banners, and promotional campaigns.
  • Edit and enhance videos, including trimming, color correction, audio adjustment, and adding visual effects, graphics, and animations.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools and software to create innovative motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns, product launches, and branding initiatives.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation, ensuring that assets are easily accessible for future references and revisions.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI technologies and motion design techniques.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Motion Design, Animation, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Motion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro X.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and platforms such as Open AI, Mid Journey, NVIDIA Canvas, Runway ML, or similar software.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, and composition.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate project requirements into compelling designs and videos.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.
