Summary Job Description

Responsible for exercising independent judgment and discretion with customers to ensure that our sales objectives are achieved, our company assets are protected, and our customers are communicated with professionally and provided excellence in all aspects of customer care. The CSA has full account responsibility and acts as a liaison for the customer with the entire organization. They will also partner with the Sales Representatives managing customers' needs and requests.

The Customer Service Associate Position Is Fast-paced And Requires The Ability To Juggle Many Complex Requests, Including But Not Limited To

  • Providing production specifications, pricing, configuration, and availability information
  • Entry of (highly configured) orders, credits, return authorizations, and order changes
  • Working closely with manufacturing and sourcing organizations to ensure completion dates are accurate and that production is completed on time
  • Managing new accounts or special shipping needs, tracking key orders, and ensuring that the items will be manufactured within an expected time frame.
  • Insuring pricing is accurate for all orders including promotional and sale periods and that the customer meets all requirements.
  • Working closely with the customer, designers, and operational staff in the overall business requirements
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; and following up to ensure resolution. Maintains decision-making authority within established approval limits.

Position Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outstanding computer skills
  • College degree or 2 years of customer service experience (preferably in furniture manufacturing)
  • Ability to develop and document procedural suggestions or changes
  • First-rate analytical skills
