As a Lighting Assembler at KMG, you will be responsible for assembling and installing lighting components for various products. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all lighting assemblies meet quality standards and production schedules.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Assemble lighting components according to specifications and blueprints
Install wiring, bulbs, and other electrical components
Test lighting assemblies to ensure they are functioning properly
Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
Follow work instructions and procedures to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Basic math skills
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
