Robert Half is partnering with one of their clients on their recruitment efforts to find a full-time, direct hire, Treasury Supervisor, located in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including cash disbursement, cash and investment management, bond issuance and compliance, and retirement plan investment management.
Responsibilities
Supervise treasury activities and provide guidance to personnel.
Ensure sufficient liquidity to cover cash commitments and manage surplus cash to maximize investment income.
Monitor cash and investment activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Review and recommend investment policies annually.
Support investment activities for retirement plan assets.
Lead bond issuance activities and maintain detailed records of all bond issuance, debt service, and reserve requirements.
Maintain positive relationships with rating agencies and investors.
Manage Accounts Payable activities to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
Review and analyze vendor invoice payment issues and work with all parties to resolve.
Support internal and external audits and company’s strategic initiatives.
Identify and support process improvement opportunities.

Requirements
Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a Treasury leadership role or similar
Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP).
Proficient in handling Cash Activity and managing cash flows.
Strong knowledge and experience in Corporate Treasury.
Experience in Investment Management is essential.
