Job Title: Associate, Retail Leasing

Location: 134 Moreland Ave, Suite #3316, Atlanta, GA

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Introduction: Join our dynamic real estate team at terra alma as an Associate. We are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for real estate, restaurants, people, gathering and retail leasing to manage landlord and tenant clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry and grow within our organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior associates in the leasing and marketing of retail operators and properties.
  • Drive new markets and conduct market research and analysis to identify potential tenants, properties, and market trends.
  • Prepare property marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and online listings.
  • Coordinate and host property tours and showings.
  • Communicate regularly with property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate lease terms and agreements under the guidance of senior associates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records and databases.
  • Assist in the timely negotiation of lease documents.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to tenants and landlords throughout the leasing process.
  • Assist in business development by recruiting prospective clients, conducting pitches/onboarding, prospecting and cold calling.
  • Performing special projects as needed.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Active GA real estate license.
  • Strong interest in commercial real estate, specifically retail leasing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently (as a part of a team), multi-task and quickly prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with real estate databases and CRM software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the real estate industry.
  • Willingness to work 40+ hours per week.
  • Ability to attend evening networking events.
