Real Estate Associate

Job Summary:

This position will be a great fit for a driven and self-motivated individual that has strong analytical skills to serve as lead asset manager of existing multifamily assets under ownership and also underwrite and source potential acquisitions. Additionally, the position will need to be filled with a creative and flexible individual that can analyze other asset types in the real estate industry.

Primary Duties:

• Serve as lead asset manager over a wide array of product types including multifamily, manufactured housing, RV’s, and other investments.

• Responsible as primary underwriting associate on a wide range of transactions including acquisitions, development, and joint ventures.

• Real estate valuation analysis of multi-family housing acquisitions and rehabilitation projects, focusing primarily on Texas markets.

• Support all phases of project from sourcing through stabilization

• Budget and portfolio management

• Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use

Educational/Experience Level:

• Minimum of 3 years of multifamily asset management and acquisitions experience with either a real estate owner/operator, real estate private equity fund, and/or brokerage

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Strong financial modeling skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently
