I have a unique situation where my bathroom window is literally in my neighbours backyard. When they put a bbq right under my window and could look in my bathroom as they bbq I had to do something. I purchased the matte white film and now I have super privacy ( photo#1)The film was so easy to work with,the instructions were clear.I was so happy with the result that I did my bedroom windows as you can see the windows face into a courtyard and parking lot… again no privacy.(photos #2&3) I did the top and bottom sections of the windows with blinds in the centre. Daylight still comes in but again I now have privacy. I haven’t had the bedroom curtains open in over a year now they are open all day . I love the privacy this window film has given to me. The bedroom windows truly took like 30 minutes each to do. I did do everything on my own and had no problem. Definitely use lots of water it makes it so much easier. I just wish the product came with its own scraper. I ended up using my gym membership card.I would definitely recommend using this product.

We ordered this to put on our kitchen window which overlooks the next townhouse's front yard. We've only managed to get 1 of the panes done because it's such a hassle to line up and get on straight. Once it's up it stays though, so that's good...but if you press too hard with a credit card or other straight edge to smooth the bubbles out (and too hard isn't that hard honestly) it scratches.

Would not buy again :(

We wanted to add some privacy to our new home's bay window in the living room. The windows are long and short in width. The 17.5" size was perfect but I had to cut it to length. It was very difficult to cut as it kept on rolling up.

When applying, it was very difficult to apply and center as well as any bubbles or uneven areas are very easily seen on the mirrored side and if it's not perfect, it looks terrible. The mirrored coating works well during the day but it gives absolutely no privacy at night.

Very difficult to install properly, even with lots of spray liquid and soap, I was frustrated during the entire process. I installed smaller versions in the bathroom windows of another brand and had no issues, this one gave me a lot of trouble.

This is a good solid product and great for the price. The only thing I found challenging, was cutting it properly. However, I've had 2 windows covered for a week now and have had no issue. They seem to cling really well, but it was tough to get it perfect without bubbles. It is opaque, so I know my neighbors can't tell what's inside my house You can see a colors but not really shapes. It's definitely great for privacy and a good price.
