A promising discovery by Professor Johan Leveau, Department of Plant Pathology, has lead to a new law allowing commercialization of research conducted in California's state parks. Professor Leveau discovered a microbe, Cal35, that, when paired with another microbe, is an effective treatment against tomato wilt and possibly other fungal diseases.
