Virtual Voyaging for Science.
Description
A presentation given as part of the 2023 WeDigBio’s "Why Dig Bio—Major Motivations Across Scale for Digitizing Biodiversity Symposium". It outlines my motivations for participating in the WeDigBio transcription event and highlights some workflows I use including connecting natural history collectors to their specimens via the website Bionomia Tracker and writing Wikipedia articles on species, natural history collectors and the locations the collectors travel to.
