Friday night I dreamt about working on my new big Wordle painting on an upcycled antique appliquéd tablecloth. After my work day ended, I started stamping the first of the patterns of the results of my 260+ Wordle puzzles in each square, big dot by big dot. In the middle are squares of Wordles dot by dot. The blue tape in the center is where I will put the results of my son’s Hungarian Wordle that has different colors.
August started out hot, but by mid-month it was just glorious, with warm temps during the day and cool at night. Despite the better weather, I still didn't walk the high number of steps I prefer to walk each day. I only walked 10,000 or more steps on only two days (see the red icons).
The gold highlight color is on days I walked 4000 steps or less. My goal is to walk close to or more than 10,000 day.

I usually work on one painting at a time, but my mind is full of ideas for ways to use the patterns of the results of the 200+ screenshots of my completed Wordle puzzles. So I don’t lose my inspiration, I’ve got 7 paintings in various stages of completion on my messy work table in my studio. It’s going to be a fun weekend!
This is the center of my new painting on an upcycled antique appliquéd tablecloth. I stitched the grid of a construction fence that I monoprinted on it. Now I am adding the patterns of the results of my 200+ Wordle puzzles in each square, dot by dot. I'll be adding more in the rest of the squares over the next few weeks. The blue tape in the center is where I will put the results of my son's Hungarian Wordle that has different colors.
I decided to stitch the grid of the monoprinted construction fence before I start adding the dots of my 200+ Wordle puzzle results (dot by dot). I like the stitching that's over the appliqué on the upcycled antique tablecloth.
July was a hot month, and because I don’t feel good in the heat, it limited the number of steps I walked each day.
In July, I walked 10,000 or more steps on only two days (see the red icons), when we had more pleasant weather.

But when I compare it to July 2023, when I was recovering from a foot injury (which better now but not 100%), I am trying not to be so hard on myself.
